About You:
Are you passionate about fostering exceptional customer relationships and driving impactful results? As a Renewals Specialist, you will be a critical team player, partnering with the Renewals Manager and Account Managers to manage and optimize the customer renewal process. By leveraging your expertise in product offerings and your proactive approach, you'll help ensure seamless renewals, maintain strong client connections, and deliver tailored solutions that meet our customers' unique needs. This role offers the opportunity to blend strategic problem-solving, collaboration, and customer engagement in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Note: This is a full-time permanent position. It will primarily be a remote role, with occasional travel and possible overtime. Starting salary of $60,000-$65,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our services and products to effectively communicate their value and drive meaningful conversations with customers.
• Proactively track, forecast, and manage renewal opportunities, ensuring all milestones are completed on time and proposing strategies to maximize customer retention.
• Collaborate with customers and internal sales teams to craft renewal strategies that deliver tailored solutions and foster lasting relationships.
• Monitor product levels, secure data from manufacturers and distributors, and ensure all changes, cancellations, or modifications are handled within vendor SLA timelines.
• Work with the team to refine lifecycle advisory offerings, enhance renewal operations, and provide exceptional customer-facing services.
• Support Renewal Managers and Account Managers throughout the renewal lifecycle, contributing to a culture of cross-functional teamwork and shared success.
• Regularly meet with vendor representatives, clients, and Account Managers to discuss renewals forecasts and ensure accuracy, alignment, and collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience working with large-scale enterprise networks and IT infrastructure, especially in renewing software subscriptions, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
• Prior exposure to financing models and contract negotiations in the IT industry is highly beneficial.
• Experience in a customer service role would be an asset.
• Passionate about sales and building positive relationships with customers.
• In-depth knowledge of large-scale enterprise networks, including cloud services, software-defined networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Extensive experience working with high-value contracts, including multi-year and enterprise-wide agreements with a proven ability to manage the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance.
• Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication, capable of presenting complex technical and financial details to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with account management, legal, finance, and technical teams to close renewals efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems; quick to learn other technical tools or platforms, including contract management software.
• Proven time management and organizational skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
