Position Title: IT Business Analyst/Change Management

Overview:

Charter is currently seeking one (1) IT Business Analyst with strong Change Management experience for projects starting mid-November 2024. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the ideal resource will have 7+ years of BA/Change Management experience planning/supporting changes related to people experience and operational improvement initiatives. Experience managing the execution of Change activities (ie training, learning, collaboration) across teams/business units/vendors to ensure alignment / integration with project objectives is required. Previous experience gathering/analyzing business requirements and capturing the ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ states (i.e., document business processes, workflows, rules) is required. Experience supporting ERP system implementation projects within Higher Education would be a strong asset. Location: Remote* Term: 7 months.

*Candidates must currently reside in Canada and remain in Canada for the duration of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years of BA/Change Management experience planning/supporting changes related to people experience and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing the execution of Change activities (ie training, learning, collaboration) across teams/business units/vendors to ensure alignment/integration with project objectives is required.
  • Experience developing actionable and targeted change management strategies and plans that support business readiness.
  • Experience leading meetings, i.e., Project team meetings, schedule meetings, project work committee meetings, vendor workshops, steering committee meetings.
  • Experience assessing the potential impact of proposed changes on various stakeholders, business processes, and systems.
  • Experience identifying potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop measures to mitigate or address those concerns and ensure long-term change sustainment.
  • Experience developing the training plan/content and roll out and working side-side the Business SMEs, their expertise on business process is required to translate to training.
  • Experience eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs (requirements) and ensure requirements traceability across the project life cycle.
  • Experience capturing the ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ states (i.e., document business processes, workflows, rules etc.)
  • Education: Active industry certifications (i.e., CBAP, PROSCI®) would be considered as an asset.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
