Overview:
Charter is currently seeking two (2) experienced M365 Solution Architects for projects starting Nov 2024. The ideal resource will have 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect assessing current enterprise systems, and designing/implementing solutions with a focus on M365 and Azure Services. Strong experience designing solutions that integrate M365 services (i.e., Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive) to improve productivity across an organization, and designing SharePoint Online architecture to support collaboration while maintaining security and compliance is required. Previous experience integrating M365 and Azure services to meet organizational policies regarding data privacy and security in the healthcare industry would be a strong asset. Location: Vancouver BC (Hybrid). Term: Five (5) months. High possibility of extensions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess current Enterprise systems, make recommendations, and oversee the implementation.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain utilities and layered products designed to support systems management, security reporting, queue management, operations.
- Oversee the integration of M365 services with other enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement M365 solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
- Conduct technical quality assurance audits and post-implementation reviews for projects and maintenance of custom applications.
- Develop client support, hardware, software, and infrastructure standards to ensure service quality and integration into standards.
- Establish and maintain change control procedures for Data Center infrastructure technology upgrades and business application software migrations.
- Plan, research, and analyze Technology Solutions related to disaster recovery, business resumption procedures and security compliance; develops recovery procedures and test plans and leads testing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect assessing current systems, designing/implementing solutions, and overseeing the implementation within enterprise environments, with a focus on M365 and Azure Services.
- Experience designing solutions that integrate M365 tools (i.e., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) to improve productivity across an organization.
- Experience integrating M365 and Azure services to meet organizational policies regarding data privacy and security, particularly in industries like healthcare or finance.
- Experience designing SharePoint Online architecture to support collaboration across different departments and locations while maintaining security and compliance.
- Experience integrating SharePoint Online with other M365 services (i.e., Teams and Power Automate) to create seamless workflows and improve business processes.
- Experience protecting data in OneDrive, especially when accessed from personal devices or external networks, with security strategies to safeguard sensitive information.
- Knowledge of Autodiscover and best practices for configuring mail clients during Exchange Online migrations, with awareness of common pitfalls.
- Experience managing identity and access control across M365, Azure, and on-premises environments.
- Experience ensuring security and regulatory compliance within M365 for enterprises with sensitive data.
- Experience developing and implementing disaster recovery planning for hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience utilizing Azure native monitoring tools (i.e., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) to proactively identify and address performance and security issues.
- In-depth knowledge of M365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and other Azure services.
- Education: active industry certifications (i.e., TOGAF) would be an asset.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
